Since 1990 ELECTROPULSE Medical Industries Ltd. has been developing and producing medical equipment for surgery, cardiology and electrophysiology. Over 14 years ago our company pioneered the very first Russian and one of the first in the world radiofrequency generator for radiofrequency catheter ablation. At the end of 1994 ELECTROPULSE implemented its new concept of an advanced electrophysiology system in the “ELKART” EP Lab system providing powerful facilities for electrophysiologic study and radiofrequency catheter ablation. The new system was positively evaluated by medical institutions throughout the country and abroad.

All these years clinical participant of our company were: Research Institute of Cardiology, TSC (Tomsk Scientific Center) of SB (Siberian Branch) of the RAMS (Russian Academy of Medical Sciences); Siberian State Medical University; Research Institute of Oncology, TSC of SB of the RAMS and other leading scientific institutions of the country.

Today ELECTROPULSE is the leading Russian manufacturer of over 10 types of medical devices for cardiology, interventional arrhythmology, general and cardio surgery. Our collaboration with physicians throughout the country made a lot for advancement of interventional arrhythmology services in Russia and CIS countries.

Since 1990 ELECTROPULSE has delivered to medical and preventive treatment facilities more than 1000 pieces of own produced medical equipment. Our collaboration with physicians throughout the country made a lot for advancement of interventional arrhythmology services in Russia and CIS countries. In 2000 more than 50 percent of the total of 2,169 abnormal pathway ablations done in Russia was performed using “ELKART” EP Lab system.

Since 1994 specialists of the Cardiac Arrhythmias Surgery department of the Tomsk Research Institute of Cardiology have established 8 Federal Arrhythmological Centers equipped with ELECTROPULSE products.

ELECTROPULSE is involved in the federal program to equip the leading cardiological centers in Moscow, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg and other major cities of Russia with state-of-the-art electrophysiology systems.
