Since 1990 ELECTROPULSE Medical Industries Ltd. has been developing and producing medical equipment for surgery, cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology.

Over 14 years ago our company pioneered the very first Russian (and one of the first in the world) radiofrequency generator for radiofrequency catheter ablation. Later on its basis an electrosurgical coagulator was created. At the end of 1994 ELECTROPULSE implemented its new concept of an advanced multifunctional electrophysiological laboratory which is now called Diagnostic and treatment complex ELKART II. In 1998 ELKART system was recommended for surgical and interventional arrhythmia treatment by a directive of the Minister of Health Care of RF.

Clinical associates of our company are Research Institute of Cardiology, Tomsk Scientific Center of Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (head – academician R.S. Karpov), Siberian State Medical University (head – Professor V.V. Novitskiy), Research Institute of Oncology, TSC of SB of the RAMS (head – Professor E.L. Choynozov) and other leading scientific centers in Russia.

For the years of its work ELECTROPULSE has supplied national medical and preventive treatment facilities with more than 800 pieces of own produced medical equipment that proved to be reliable, handy and effective. In 2004 ELECTROPULSE equipment was already supplied to many parts of Russia – from Vladivostok to St. Petersburg

Today our company develops, manufactures and introduces to medical praxis more than 10 types of medical devices.

Electrosurgical equipment: universal system “S-350 RF” for cutting and coagulation;

“ARGON +” for cutting and coagulation in argon environment; “ALLIGATOR” for quick and safe sealing of vessels and tissue bundles.

Mobile and stationary pacemakers “SOBOL - NM” and “SOBOL”, stationary system “ELKART - TES” and mobile system “ELKART - TESM” for diagnostic and medical transesophageal pacing.

Diagnostic and treatment complex ELKART II – a brand-new software system for endocardial electrophysiological study, diagnostic and medical pacing and radiofrequency ablation of abnormal heart pathways. Recently a mobile system for EPS and RF ablation “ELKART-M” has been put on the market.

“ELKART”-family systems are used in the best medical centers of the country: Since 1994 ELECTROPULSE together with the specialists of the Cardiac Arrhythmias Surgery department of the Tomsk Research Institute of Cardiology have established 8 Federal Arrhythmological Centers equipped with ELECTROPULSE products. About 45-50 % of catheter ablation operations in Russia are conducted with our equipment.

Nowadays a “NOVIGATOR” system has been developed which is used for localization of electrodes’ position in heart cavities during EP study and RF ablation, for 3D mapping of heart cavities and visualization of autowave processes spreading in myocardium.

It is a weighty opinion of Russian and foreign specialists that product quality of our medical equipment is highly competitive with world leading manufacturing companies not to mention 1,5-2 times lower price.

ELECTROPULSE repeatedly wins tenders on the supply of medical equipment to the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

We are actively working on promoting our products on foreign markets: CIS, EU, USA, China, India. ELECTROPULSE regularly participates in international expositions and conferences where our production always attracts much attention.

The priority of ELECTROPULSE is a constant search for new technologies and their introduction in the practice of development and production of medical equipment for high-performance surgeons’ work and patients’ safety.

The level of sophistication and complexity of our medical equipment and possibility of its influence on health of the patients and medical personnel determines high requirements to quality of design and production as to the most important criterion of the company work. In 2006 Quality Management System of ELECTROPULSE Medical Industries Ltd. has been assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2000 for design, manufacture and sales of the electronic medical devices. Our main commercial products: “ELKART II” EP Lab for electrophysiologic diagnosis and therapy of heart with “RF-100 TI” ablation generator; “S-350 RF” electrosurgical generator with “ALLIGATOR” bipolar vessel sealing system and “ARGON PLUS” argon gas supply unit are CE Marked after being assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of Directive 93/42/EEC Annex II (excluding Section 4).
