ELKART NAVIGATOR SYSTEMSoon we will release our new ELKART NAVIGATOR electrophysiologic navigation system. The system is a new powerful tool expected to reduce fluoroscopy exposure and increase precision in catheter targeting during mapping and ablation procedures. It incorporates new ELECTROPULSE's intrabody catheter location technology that exploits center frequency currents in areas between three pairs of electrodes to associate electrical activity with catheter location. The system provides advanced three-dimensional catheter localization capabilities, without the need for special catheters, during ablation procedures. With ELKART NAVIGATOR system physicians can now maneuver catheters during mapping and ablation procedures more precisely. The ELKART NAVIGATOR system accurately tracks electrodes on multiple catheters in real time and enables 3D electroanatomical map reconstruction improving quality of niveau diagnosis of accessory pathways and arrhythmogenic focuses to provide higher rate of successful procedures. The ELKART NAVIGATOR system has the potential to reduce X-ray exposure and ablation procedure time when compared to the traditional two-dimensional approach of using fluoroscopic-based imaging systems. The system is suitable for use in any cardiac ablation procedure. KEY BENEFITS - Accurate real-time location of electrodes in conjunction with traditional fluoroscopic-based imaging provides complete anatomical picture during electrophysiological studies and radiofrequency ablations.
- Significantly reduced X-ray exposure.
- True location and orientation. Electrode position accurately displayed in X, Y and Z axes.
- Virtual visualization. Visualization of catheter movement on a computer workstation helps to maneuver the catheter.
- No special catheters.
- User-friendly interface.
- Fully compatible with the ELKART EP LAB Advanced Universal Electrophysiology System.
