Summary of the comments on the Elkart Electrophysiology System

"…The Elkart System is modern, effective, and very competitive with other systems currently available in the West. It appears to be reasonably easy to use, the tracings are excellent, and there are multiple options in terms of data storage. Many physicians performing "routine" EPS would find the present system quite sufficient, particularly if staffing is relatively limited. This would be particularly true if the device is priced very competitively…"

John D. Fisher, MD, FACC, FESC
Director, Arrhythmia Services
Professor of Medicine
Albert Einstein College of Medicine

Recently we had a pleasure to welcome Dr. John D. Fisher, M.D., F.A.C.C., director of arrhythmia services of Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, New York to Tomsk. Dr. Fisher arrived to Russia for a week’s visit at request of ELECTROPULSE company. During his visit Dr. Fisher observed several operations at the Tomsk Research Institute of Cardiology and evaluated ELECTROPULSE’s medical equipment that was used in the course of these operations. “…I did not discover any disadvantages of the devices I have seen so far. This equipment is quite comparable with what we are currently using in the U.S. I think the ELKART lab can be very competitive in the U.S. market…” commented Dr. Fisher in his interviews to local mass media. He also noticed that ELECTROPULSE was the first and only Russian company that submitted Premarket Approval application for its product to FDA. Besides that Dr. Fisher accepted an invitation to participate in the 5th International Slavic Congress on Pacing and Cardiac Electrophysiology that took place in St. Petersburg, February 7-9, 2002 and delivered a talk during one of the scientific sessions.

Soon we will provide Dr. Fisher’s assessment of the ELKART lab for your information.
